BASIC Foot Soak is an invigorating treat for the feet. Use it as a scrub or a soak to exfoliate dry or cracked heels, and to soothe tired and sore feet. Foot Soak exfoliates and moisturizes the skin, reduces swelling, aids the healing of cuts, blisters, or bruises, and reduces aches and pains from standing or strenuous activity.
Containing herbs and essential oils known to support the immune system, use the soak to boost immunity during a cold or flu, or to simply maintain your health.
How Do I Use It?
To use as a soak, add 4 cups of warm water (preferably heated on stove top to maintain warm temperature longer) to a bowl or tub acceptable (and big enough) for soaking your feet. in front of a chair or the couch (get cozy!), lay down a towel and set the bowl of water on top of it. Grab a hand towel to dry off with afterwards. Add a spoon full of the soak to the water. Put your feet in and relax. Enjoy the soak for 10-20 minutes or as long as you want to. When finished, remove your feet to the towel, and pat your feet dry with a hand towel. Make sure the bottom of your feet are plenty dry before walking on hard surfaces.
To use as an exfoliating scrub, simply warm and wet the feet (use a warm cloth or rinse/soak in warm water), then shake about a quarter size (you can always add more) of the Soak into your hand and rub along the feet in a circular motion. Rinse and pat dry.
*For additional healing, apply BASIC Salve to cracked heals or any other wounds or dry skin on the feet after soaking/scrubing, and cover with socks.
